Oscar winner will play a younger version of Kathleen Turner's character in sequel
Jennifer Lawrence will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Dumb and Dumber To, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
According to the report, the Oscar-winning actress will play a younger version of Kathleen Turner's character in the sequel to 1994's hit comedy Dumb and Dumber.
Lawrence popped by the Atlanta set -- conveniently close to the location where she's shooting Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- for a daylong visit. Like the original Farrelly Brothers film, which she has cited as a favorite, the new flick casts Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as the titular bozos. The new movie also features Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden and Steve Tom, and is set for release in 2014.
Lawrence will appear next in the second installment of Games, Catching Fire, due in November. Future projects include David O'Russell's American Hustle and X-Men: Days of Future Past, both in post-production.
